After overlooking my last blog post I've decided that it seems a bit whiney. I apologize. It really isn't a super strict hand slapping place to be, it is actually quite pleasant. I really like all of my teachers so far- they are very personable, very friendly, and very helpful. The summer semester is supposedly very mellow compared to the fall and spring semesters, so I am happy to be eased into the program. Right now I am enrolled in anatomy, medical terminology, and selected topics of physical therapy. Selected topics is going to be a breeze, and medical terminology shouldn't be too bad. Just memorization. Anatomy will be the hard one. I don't think it will be that bad really- I really enjoy learning the anatomy, and we are dissecting a cadaver right now. There are 6 cadavers for the class to dissect, so I am working in a group of 3 to dissect half of one person. Our guy is a very large man who had diabetis- he has a bunch of foot and leg ulcers. So far we have taken off all of the skin from his head to his butt on his back side, so we can see all of his back muscles. It took a lot of elbow grease to cut out all of the fat to get to the muscles. Its different to say the least to stab a real person with a scalpal.
In other news we have finally organized our apartment except for the extra room- so it looks very nice! Here are some pictures:

Hey! That is all our friends furniture!! What is it doing in an apartment so far away?
Your apartment looks so cute and cozy! Good job, you guys! I LOVE the shelves in your bedroom. They look awesome! AND - I love the desk. Is it built into the wall? That is really cool.
Ew on the cadaver. I really admire people like you, Zak. You are a hard worker - and enjoy learning ... THE HARD STUFF even. Just makes my brain hurt! :) Good luck with all the memorization and info storage!
Sounds like Brand's job every day! Love the apartment too! Very cute! I remember the days without kids when the house looked nice all the time...Sigh, those were the days. :)
Dude - WAY to descriptive on the cadavar... gross.
