So as of late I have been on an Aaron Neville kick. I have to admit, I kind of like some of his songs, but what I like EVEN MORE is to make fun of his voice. It is just so unique and odd. If you have never tried to imitate his voice I suggest you try right now. You will love it. A couple of guys in the ward and I have grown closer because of our love of trying to sing like Aaron Neville. One of them sent me this link today and it made me laugh quite a bit.
When he goes off on his trademark "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh ah ahhhh ah ah ah aha - ah - ah - ah - ah - ah - ah" it reminds me of Michael Jackson grabbing his region or Jack Black adding in some sort of "fligga-gigga" in his songs. Just a little dash of spice extra that makes you feel good about your own personal uniqueness.
The following is a very funny video from Family Guy which makes reference to Aaron Neville. And while we are on the topic, I would just like to say that I do not endorse Family Guy. I admit that some of the scenes in this cartoon are some of the funniest I have ever seen, but at the same time the most crass, vile, and blasphemous things also come from this show. So it's a toss up. Enjoy!

Thank you Zak. I enjoyed both of those very much. The Sesame Street song was actually very sweet and I like his voice. Very unique. The family guy thing was very funny.
haha, maybe it's just me, but I had totally mixed feelings about the Sesame Street video... While I enjoyed listening to what's his face sing, laughing to myself by the mental image of you singing just like that when we work together... for some reason the video made me want to punch someone in the face. haha, weird, I know.
